Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of every student. In our 1-1 setting, we begin by assessing your child's skills and understanding using standardized, research-based academic testing. From here, a program is generated to target specific areas of deficit. Students receive high-quality instruction using a personalized program, working toward building both skill and confidence. All teaching is based on the latest scientific research and best practices.

Our Reading Program uses the best practices and the latest Science of Reading research strategies and tools to target areas of student deficit. Lessons include various components including phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, and comprehension development. Lessons are highly engaging, student-specific, and fast paced to maintain student engagement, keeping learning fun and meaningful.
Our Writing Program begins with a standardized assessment and incorporates skill development in the different facets of writing, including brainstorming, organization, writing, editing, revision, and publishing. Students build skill through applying the different writing stages to a wide variety of literary genre including narrative, biography, research, poetry, and informational writing.
Our Math Program uses high-quality materials focusing on basic skill development and application strategies, using research materials and components from The University of Waterloo, along with other top mathematical thinkers such as Sherry Parrish, Graham Fletcher, and Marion Small. Hands-on materials are a key component of the mathematics program and are used to deepen conceptual understanding. All lessons align with the latest Ontario Mathematics Curriculum, leading learners to develop skill and confidence.
